Brief was to design and illustrate a tough "sentry" girl with superhuman strength (along with a ton of other tiny details), waiting to duke it out with one of world's most notorious criminalss~~~

Some sketches and current WIP!

It's been awhile!

This is what I've been up to, though it's been slow because of moving houses and this and that. I'd actually been working on an older version of this, before deciding I wasn't happy with almost all of it - and gone back to do a new sketch of it (below!)

Thinking to go for maybe a more colorful palette than my previous attempt, but still unsure at the moment..

This is the older and now scrapped piece, bleh :p
Really wasn't feeling the colors and mood at all, also the character design..

Bloodsports 16: The Big Rig!

Some sketches and studies plus the final art I submitted for the challenge over at Crimson Dagger's latest challenge :)

The challenge for this was to create a 80s B-movie style cinematic shot, with the theme being anything that works with a chosen Judas Priest song title.

My chosen title was "Love Bites", and this is my cheesy take on it :D
I'm hoping to spend more time on this maybe next week or after and take it to finish.

Coral Seashell Golem and Sorceress

Finally finished up the illustration of the sorceress and golem that I'd been working on for the Bloodsports challenge. I didn't manage to get the illustration done in time for the actual challenge, but what I posted placed 3rd and so Dave, Wes and Dan did talk about my sketches and critiqued it too :)

After hearing their crits which all make sense to me, I would actually take this piece in a whole other direction if I were to start it again. But anyhow, this is what I did come up with which I'm still really happy about nonetheless!
